Jr. Pioneers Hockey offers competitive youth hockey opportunities for 4-14 year olds in the Denver community. We are part of the Rocky Mountain Hockey Federation (RMHF), Colorado Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA), and Colorado Recreational Hockey League (CRHL).
Our home facilities are Joy Burns Arena and Magness Arena, located inside the Daniel L. Ritchie Center for Sports and Wellness on the University of Denver campus.

How to Register for Tryouts
Regular season hockey (September-March) hosts tryouts in August-September for the next season. The 2024-25 regular season information and tryouts will be available in June 2024.
Step 1: Register with USA Hockey
Each player must be registered with USA Hockey, and we recommend you print and save each player's confirmation number.

Players will participate in 1 Skill Session and 2 60-minute Games weekly for 10 total games. Playoffs are single elimination. Each team has 15 Players and 1 Goalie. This league is No-Checking.
