Our Mission Statement:
Miami Women’s DII hockey embodies a competitive, uplifting, and inclusive environment. We foster dignified, humble players who value unity and prosperity. Being a Redhawk means honoring yourself and the future you are creating while developing a legacy of leadership. It means leaving your jersey in a better place than where you found it. Our team cultivates the belief that we can make each other better both as players and as people. Through adversity and success, we prevail with love and honor.

Hockey is extremely popular at Miami and our men’s NCAA team routinely sends players to the NHL. However, women’s hockey is a club sport at Miami and while we get funding from the university and are provided with an excellent home rink in which to practice and play games, we rely on donations to supplement our budget each season. As an ACHA D-II team, we play a robust schedule of approximately 20 games and routinely travel to rinks across Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In order to live our dream of representing Miami on the ice and expanding the popularity of women’s hockey on campus we need your support!
