HOW DATES DIVISIONS ARE DETERMINED:

Tournaments are broken into 1 to 3 divisions of 4-6 teams each. Based on an A (Advanced, Red), B (Intermediate, White), C (Beginner, Blue) level rating. In House Select teams are encouraged to register in the division and dates that the coach feels appropriate.  The divisions are determined by the first teams to register for that date. If tournament dates become heavy on one division, management reserves the right to assign empty dates a division to ensure all division are represented.

Games start on Friday at 5:30pm with the final Championship game, weather permitting, ending no later than Sunday 1pm.

Unless the weekend listed below has a designated, the levels are determined by the first teams to register for the weekend.

A typical weekend has 2- four team divisions. There will be an initial round robin play. Teams will be seeded 1-4. Teams 1 and 2 will play for the championship. Teams 3 and 4 will play a consolation game. This is the ideal structure. Team registration may dictate change.

There is a 3 game minimum, 5 game maximum guarantee, depending on division registration, with individual medals awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams and Champions Trophy awarded to 1st place team in each division. Tournament apparel will be available for pre-order and during the tournament

Divisions 

Each weekend is structured to have two- 4 team divisions. This is the idle set-up for the weekend. Some weekends can range from one- 6 team division to two – 6 team divisions. Other than those date currently designated on the home page, the divisions for each weekend are set by the first teams to register.

Example: An A level team and a C level team are the first to sign up for a tournament date. That will set that weekend as a & C levels. After levels are set teams will be listed on our Participating Teams page.

Tournament Play

With multiple weekends of small division our tournament are designed for the your Mite players and parents to have the most fun possible. Schedules will be set to give the best competition for that weekend.

That said, no one can guarantee a weekend of one goal games. Please observe good sportsmanship. Goal differential is not a tie breaker in this tournament. Accumulated penalties will be a tie breaker.

Schedule Release Information

A game schedule is made available for registered teams to view via schedule sent to the team manager seven days prior to the date your team will be playing. This schedule will be updated throughout the weekend and can be viewed as updates are posted.
