State Tournament Schedule Posted!

We appreciate your patience as we finalized the schedule for the upcoming State Tournament, March 8-10. You can find the full schedule below.

Important Reminders:

• Home Teams: Please ensure you have volunteers to run the scorebox (time clock and gamesheets) for your games.
• Warm-up Pucks: Each team is responsible for providing their own warm-up pucks.
• Team Check-In: Before each game, please check in at the designated table. This is also where you can ask any questions throughout the tournament.
• Locker Rooms: Assignments will be posted on monitors at rink entrances. Remember, your team is responsible for leaving your locker room clean and free of trash, tape balls, etc. Teams will be held accountable for any damage.
• Concerns: Only team managers and head coaches can raise concerns about the tournament, as per tournament rules and regulations.
• Noise Devices: As stated in the rules, noise devices like horns and bells are not allowed.

Prepare for the ultimate showdown at the CAHA State Championships, where hockey excellence meets fierce competition! Mark your calendars for March 1-3 and March 8-10 as the top 8 teams in each Age Group/Division battle it for supremacy on the ice.  Teams will be guaranteed 3 games during the state tournament, and fees will be announced shortly, costing between $900 and $1300.

We're writing to provide an update on the team announcements and schedules for the upcoming CAHA State Championships. We're excited to share that selections for the AA divisions and Girls 15U & 19U will be revealed soon!

Important Update: We've encountered an unforeseen delay in finalizing the schedule for announcement on Sunday, February 25th. We understand this news might be disappointing, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Revised Schedule:

• Monday, February 26th by 5 PM: Team announcements for AA divisions and Girls 15U & 19U will be posted on the CAHA website and communicated directly to registered teams via email.
• Wednesday, February 28th: Team selections and schedules for all remaining divisions will be announced on the CAHA website and emailed to registered teams.
• After announcements: Stay tuned for additional information regarding logistics, rules, and any critical updates leading up to the tournament.

We understand the anticipation you're feeling, and we appreciate your patience as we work diligently to finalize the schedule. We're committed to ensuring a smooth and successful tournament for all participants, and this additional time will allow us to deliver the best possible experience.

How many games will we get?

All teams will get a minimum of 3 games at this tournament.

What is the Format?

We will be having a Pool Play where all teams will play each other in their pool (3 Games).  The winners from each pool will play in the championship on Sunday.

When will the Final Rankings be posted?

Final Rankings will be released on Wednesday, February 21, for all AA Divisions and on Wednesday, February 28, for all other divisions.

How do we know if we are in the Top 8 for rankings?

 Teams will be able to check their teams ranking on MyHockeyRankings.com

My Team is in the Top 8 but we don’t want to participate, do we have to?

Teams will not be required to participate in States if they don’t want to.  Teams who are interested will need to sign up and pay a $50 refundable deposit to let us know that are interested in playing.  If a team drops out, we will ask the next team in line to see if they want to participate.
