Here are what some of our visiting teams had to say about their Fire & Ice experience:

"Hello Paul,

On behalf of the Franklin Flyers I would like to thank you for an extremely well run tournament. I received nothing but positive feedback from our players and their families.

From the cleanliness of the rink facilities and locker rooms all the way down to the atmosphere it was a truly fun experience. The bake sale items, raffle baskets, great merch counter were all a huge hit. I also heard several of our families compliment the burgers off the grill so let the chef know we appreciate his grill work.

Being an all girls team we went in not knowing what to expect and were very happy with the amount of support and respect we received from not only you guys but from other participating teams and their families.

I also want to take this time to thank you for doing your homework on the part of placing teams and making sure they were in the correct A,B,C class. It’s very rare you see tournaments with such parity and teams on the same competitive level. It was the “no elite” team language on your site that attracted us to the tournament and we were glad this was the case.

I have brought this tournament to the attention of our hockey association in Franklin and I hope you see more of us in the future."

Kevin, Franklin Flyers, Squirt C Team, 2023

". . . Just a quick email to thank you and your staff for an awesome tournament as you once again did a really nice job all the way around.  All the little extras that you and the staff do for the tournament (pin exchange, national anthem, coins, program, etc.) are a really nice touch as well.  This year the competition was really good for all the Teams in the Division from my perspective and that is what you always hope for."

Ben, Schenectady Chargers, Squirt A Team, 2020

". . . We had a great time!  Your tournament offered a chance for all teams to be competitive in the division and that is all any team can hope for going into a tournament.

I want to thank the volunteers in the scorekeepers box for their help and support during the tournament.  Those young men were incredibly supportive of the kids on our team.  Especially after the championship game loss and how they consoled our goalie.  They also made comments to me after a couple of games about how much they liked our kids from our program.  That speaks volumes about their character and I cannot overstate how impressed I was with them.

I can only imagine how much time and effort went into it.  Our players and families will have so many great memories from the weekend both on and off the ice. "

Doug, Saugerties Mustangs, Squirt B Team, 2020

" . . I wanted to connect and extend our thanks for hosting such a fun tournament this weekend. It was our first time attending and we found the weekend to be VERY well run and our kids had an absolute blast. We will definitely have this event on our radar again next year! The basket raffle was a hit with our families and we REALLY appreciated the onsite photographer. The 6:30 Sunday game...that was early but worth it!

Thank you again and please extend our thanks to those in your association who made this weekend one our kids will remember for years to come."

Jennifer, Hanover Wild, Squirt C Team, 2020

"...we had at your tournament this weekend. I thought the experience was great, you made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The drinks and snacks after each game is a great idea, the kids loved the pin exchange which unfortunately is no longer done at most other tournaments, your facilities are top notch and you make a great effort to keep the teams evenly matched. I will definitely look to come back next year."

Brian, Northern Rhode Island Vikings, Squirt B Team, 2013

" . . . this is the best traveling tournament that our team has been participating in over the years.  The competition is evenly matched, the organization is great, and facilities are best around, and most of all the kids had a blast."

Northern Rhode Island Vikings, Squirt B Team, 2012

" . . . just wanted to say thank you for yet another great tournament.  I have been to many tournaments over the years and yours continues to be one of the best and most organized - if not the best.  You and your staff pay attention to all the details and not just at the rink.  You always ask where we are staying and how it is, do we have a place to eat, etc.  I appreciate all you have done for us over the years."
