Join the elite ranks at the Kelowna Just for Girls Elite Hockey Camp, taking place at the Capital News Centre from July 17 to 21. Led by esteemed head instructors Olympian Hannah Miller and professional player Kiana Wilkinson, along with guest appearances by national team players (stay tuned for announcements), this camp is exclusively designed for top AAA players. Approved by Paul Crowley, former professional player and NHL scout, the focus is on special team play and enhancing skills through repetition.
Experience 1.5 hours of intense on-ice skill development each morning, followed by an hour of dry land conditioning and training. Engage in competitive 4 vs 4 scrimmages throughout the week-long tournament. The camp offers cutting-edge power skating sessions covering forward and backward skating, agility, and pivots. Sharpen your shooting skills with drills for pull snap shots, slap shots, deking, one-timers, and point shots for defensemen.
Team play development takes center stage with high-level 2 on 1 and 3 on 2 drills, comparable to College D-1 level training. Learn the intricacies of power play and penalty killing strategies. Each practice incorporates engaging scrimmages, including 3 vs 3, 4 vs 4, and 5 vs 5 formats.
