August 21-25, 2023
777 Sherbrooke St, Peterborough, ON, Canada
Experience the Peterborough Tyke program, taking place from August 21 to 25 at the Kinsmen Civic Centre. This engaging evening program provides 1 hour of ice time per day and is tailored for beginners in the world of hockey.
We are particularly proud of this program, as it focuses on nurturing the grassroots of hockey by introducing participants to skating and beginner skills. Whether you are a non-skater or already have some skating experience, our program is designed to accommodate all skill levels. We divide the ice in half, ensuring that each group receives instruction at the appropriate level for their skill development.
Our dedicated instructors will guide you through power skating sessions and skills development activities, aimed at building a solid foundation in hockey fundamentals. From learning proper skating techniques to developing essential skills, we will provide a supportive and engaging environment for your hockey journey.
As part of our commitment to your development, we provide jerseys for all participants, creating a sense of unity and belonging within the program. Additionally, you will benefit from a qualified CHE instructor ratio of 1:4, guaranteeing individual attention and personalized instruction.
