CDT Summer Training program offers more ice time and allows us to delve into more progressions and more skill-specific training. Skating, edge work remains the foundation, but increased frequency and duration of training allows us to master to each individuals skating needs. There is an increased focus on stickhandling and passing with movement and specific offensive skating and stickhandling as well
CDT strongly believes the summer months should be dedicated to individual skill development. Skating is by far the most important skill in the game of hockey, and as the speed of the game increases at all levels, the importance of skating will continue to be the most important skill.
This development camps stretches over 10 weeks with over 20 hours of on ice instruction and 10+ hours of off ice training which is optional. Our development program works on individual skills; skating, edgework, shooting, stickhandling, various models of game play simulation. If you’re looking to become faster and stronger within weeks this is the program for you! This program will be limited.
Camp Includes:
25+ hrs of on ice instruction (1.5hr ice slots)
10+ hours of off ice training (optional)
