The Findlay Amateur Hockey Association or FAHA was established in the 1960's as the area's youth hockey organization. The Hancock Recreation Center, or The Cube, as it is known today, was not built at this time and players skated out of Bowling Green's ice arena. The following year, players traveled to Lima to use their ice facilities. Finally, the Hancock Recreational Center was open.
FAHA is sanctioned through the USA Hockey organization. Over the years FAHA has been there to provide many positive experiences for our youth hockey players. We want to continue that tradition and strive to make our organization the best it can be. As with any good organization, we can't do it alone. We are fortunate to have many talented and caring coaches who dedicate their time to our children. We have a community that has been there to provide FAHA with the necessary financial support that enables FAHA to keep fees down. However, we can always use more volunteers to help make our organization the best. If you would like to volunteer to help with this season, please contact any Board member.
