Overview

Celebrating its 16th season in 2024-25, the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) is made up of three Leagues: T1ER (Tier 1), SHOW (Tier I/ II), and the FALL League (September / October Season).

The NAPHL has established itself as one of the premier grounds for development and exposure. The success of the leagues' players at the next levels of hockey is proof that the NAPHL is redefining exposure and has elevated itself to one of the premier training grounds for development and opportunity.

A record-breaking number of NAPHL players have advanced to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) in recent seasons. In 2023, the NAPHL had a record 95 players Tendered or Drafted into the NAHL. Plus 79 Players were tendered or Drafted into the NA3HL. Also 24 players drafted to the USHL. 200+ Alumni in the NAHL, 160+ in the NA3HL, and 40+ in the USHL. 9 players are currently listed on the NHL Central Scouting for the 2024 NHL Draft.

Since 2020, no other USA Hockey Midget Tier I league has had more players play in the NAHL.

The NAPHL is operated by the NAHL's experienced staff and provides an organized and competitive experience guaranteed to benefit all of the participating student-athletes.

The NAPHL is composed of regular-season events leading up to its Championship Tournament in which the top teams at each level compete for a league championship.

    Episode 3: Max Martin The reigning NAHL MVP and former #NAPHL forward Max Martin caught up with Brittany Hart about his experiences in both the NAPHL and NAHL in his pathway to college hockey! Martin spent two seasons in the NAPHL with Meijer AAA and Biggby Coffee AAA at the 15U and 18U levels. With 28 games played in the NAPHL, the 6’0” forward was over a point per game player with 30 points, ultimately resulting in a NAHL tender agreement for the 2022-23 season. After a stellar NAHL career, Martin would make his commitment to Bowling Green University.     Episode 2: Adam Schankula Former #NAPHL All-Star Adam Schankula speaks with Brittany Hart about the transition of playing youth to junior hockey and the opportunities he had while playing for the Tri-State Spartans! Schankula spent two seasons in the NAPHL with the Tri-State Spartans at the 18U level from 2020-2022. With 58 games played in the NAPHL, the 6’2” forward was over a point per game player with 69 points, being selected to the NAPHL All-Star game. Schankula would go on to join the Black Bears during his 18U year and would play three seasons in the NAHL before heading off to play Division 1 college hockey at Bowling Green.     Episode 1: Justin Kerr Brittany Hart speaks with former CarShield and NAPHL Dixon Cup Champion Justin Kerr spoke about his experiences growing as a player in the NAPHL, NAHL, and earning a NCAA Division 1 Commitment! Kerr spent the 2022-23 season with the CarShield AAA, being crowned a Dixon Cup Champion, playing 19 NAPHL games, and registering over a point per game during the regular season. Following the 2022-23 season, Kerr would advance to the NAHL and join the Lone Star Brahmas in the South Division where he earned his commitment to play at Bowling Green State University.
