For over 18 years, Simply Defense has provided dedicated defensive instruction to thousands of students in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Colorado, Missouri and Minnesota!
We offer a variety of programs both during the season and throughout the summer providing focused defensive instruction that many players don't receive with their team. With practice time at a premium, it is often difficult for coaches to spend as much time as they would like teaching the defensive game.
Our program provides an environment where defensemen can learn everything from basic fundamentals to game concepts and strategy, to the little tricks and techniques that you only learn from other defensemen. Whether it be our holiday clinics, summer camps, or college/junior prep camps, students are immersed into a program with 100% defensive content & instruction.
Our program was developed by Director Jeff Blum, a former Division I & Minor Pro Defensemen and former coach with Saginaw Spirit in the OHL. Jeff along with our staff of current & former Pro, College, and Junior defensemen provide a positive challenging learning environment for all our students. Portions of the program utilize a station format creating better student/instructor interaction and a more personalized instructional experience.
