Thunderbirds Hockey Club is proud to partner with ALTHEN HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT to offer a Summer Skills Program. Kyle Althen is a highly sought-after skills coaches in Central Ohio. This Summer Skills Program is open to all 2006-2013 birth year skaters wanting to participate.
Kyle played juniors for the Wooster Oilers and Central Wisconsin Saints before his college career at the University of Akron (ACHA DII). He also served as a scout and in hockey operations positions for the Amarillo Bulls (NAHL) and Oswego Stampede (NA3HL). He has coached several teams at the AAA level and is currently the head coach of the Ohio Blue Jackets AAA 15O squad. Kyle is also operating his own skills programs and camps. Kyle will be coaching the 12U & 14U Battery practices this fall.
